For 2012 she will have matching new upholstery in all her sleeping cabins too – plus a stack-pack system to make stowing that crisp new mainsail a little easier! Flexible accommodation comprising 8 good-sized berths with three double cabins and two single berths in the main saloon. Hot and cold pressurised water system, heated from engine or shore power immersion heater. Eberspacher warm air central heating plus 240v A.C. shorepower sockets in all cabins. New invertor to power 240v phone charger and/or laptop underway. 29hp Volvo SailDrive diesel engine gives excellent performance and makes for easy manoeuvring. Wheel steering - with controls and displays for the hydraulic autopilot, wind/speed/depth and combined colour chartplotter/radar, all mounted at the wheel. DSC VHF radio and separate GPS readout at chart table. Radio/CD player. Fridge. Dinghy with outboard. Avocet is a delightful boat for West Coast Cruising with a really fresh feel to her and all the home comforts you could ask for. She's also a pleasure to sail and a very easily handled yacht, whether under power or sail. Note: Cruising Chute available as optional extra at £100 per week or part thereof.
