Spacious rear cabin with separate heads and a most comfortable main cabin with Eberspacher heating throughout & hot water from shore-power or engine. Very large fridge plus coolbox. Her accommodation is very versatile - 3 doubles and 2 singles, or 5 separate sleeping areas. New Raymarine wind instruments, integrated with the other Raymarine instruments. The main Raymarine 10 inch colour plotter at the chart table is integrated with the Raymarine autopilot. There are 2 DSC VHF radios with independent aerials. Radio/CD player with new speakers. Additional Lowrance colour plotter fitted at the wheel. Major electrical upgrade in 2011 with new 240v/12v Sterling battery charger and new powerful Sterling alternator to battery charger. Two alternators are fitted. Engine starting battery is independent of the domestic battery bank and ensures reliable starting regardless of the charge in the domestic bank. A small 240v invertor allows recharging of mobile phones etc underway. Avon RIB mounted on davits powered by a 2HP Honda 4-stroke. 16Kg Delta anchor with 50 metres of chain, easily handled with the electric windlass. Easy-drop stack-pack system and gas strut kicker make mainsail handling particularly safe & easy. New Furlex reefing and new standing rigging in 2009. Manoeuvring is eased by the powerful bow-thruster and a rope cutter is fitted on the prop shaft. Midnight Mirage is a spacious and friendly yacht that provides both comfort & performance - cruise over long distances at up to 7kts or more, under sail or power. Normally based at Largs Yacht Haven but may also be available from Croabh Haven if that can be organised to fit in with other charters.
