RYA UK National PowerBoat Level 2 (Coastal / Tidal) Qualification

The RYA National PowerBoat Level 2 (Coastal/Tidal) Qualification is an integral part of the UK National PowerBoat Scheme, and is conducted as a either a 2-Day Training Course, or on a 1:1 basis at a time, place, pace and style to suit you.

Courses are run every week & weekend all year, each night is spent on-board a training yacht, with a Course Instructor and up to two other students per power boat.

RYA G13 Strongly Advised. Commercial Endorsement Requires PPR + ML5 + BSS + Cat.C FAAS.

Enployers include SunSail, Ocean Youth Trust, Fairbridge Trust, RNLI, Maritime & Coastguard Agency, Marine Harvest, PGL Watersports Centres and many other private and public-sector employers. Opportunities include Site-Safety RIB/PB Operator, Marine Tour-Guide, Passenger Vessel Skipper (12 Persons Max), Mate, Deck-hand, Crewman, Flotilla Skipper, Charter Skipper, Delivery Skipper, Marina Movement Manager, Route to Professional Advanced PowerBoat (Level 2 or Advanced-Level Instructor), Commercial Endorsement. Commercial Endorsement also available on PowerBoat Level 2, Intermediate & Advanced. Stand-Alone Instructor Rating also available on PowerBoat Level 2.
